Art SUX Gallery is owned by artist and Siouxland resident Amy Thompson.

It is a privately owned gallery focused on featuring the local artists who have a studio in the building.

Art SUX is unique space that houses studios, a gallery, a coffee shop and bakery. 

The concept was created in the idea of bringing artists and the Siouxland community together.

Emphasizing on artists creating on their own, in their own studio, yet having the opportunity to work with and be inspired by each other--a collaborative, strong and supportive community. A welcoming home for all types, all creatives and for the community.

Art SUX became a reality, opening its doors and holding their Grand Opening on December 19, 2019 when it opened its first location in the Ho Chunk Centre.

On July 23, 2001, it opened its current location at 515 4th Street. 

The transition to a 3 story building, dedicated to local art and artists, opened up two floors of artist studios, a main gallery, a back gallery and a large area for collaborative work and larger working spaces not only for artists but for the nonprofit, Art SUX For Kids which was formed in 2018 to bring free art events for all Siouxland children.

Artist studios are open to the public with studio hours 10-1 on Saturdays.
